The long-awaited R O G ZEPHYRUS G14-ACRNM gaming laptop – a collaboration between ACRONYM and Republic of Gamers – is now available to buy online at selected retailers. A closer look at the product cosmetically reveals the intricate ways in which the laptop melds premium design and state of the art hardware.

The 14-inch device demonstrates a commitment to fusing top tier technical specs with a unique vision for hardware desire. Pushing the limits of engineering, the R O G ZEPHYRUS G14-ACRNM utilises leading-edge machining, engraving, finishing and painting techniques.

The device is based on a design concept that’s grounded in Errolson Hugh’s vision of a more empowered user: not just a gamer, but a thinker and a creator. “We try to break the expected relationship with a product to make the user feel more aware of the product as a tool, and make them more active and engaged with it,” says Hugh. “It’s too easy to become complacent toward the technology we use and let into our lives, and that can make us passive recipients of information and thus less creative and less empowered.”

Alongside designer David Rudnick, the two designed and prototyped a new design language from the ground up, including bespoke typefaces and material treatments, touching every aspect of the R O G ZEPHYRUS G14. This forward-thinking approach has made this product extremely customisable as well as powerful; every gamer can express themselves through their aesthetic, their style, and in turn, their story.

The R O G ZEPHYRUS G14-ACRNM – a fusion of next-gen style and next-gen hardware – is available in the UK from Lab Store London. Find out more by heading to ROG’s website here.
